Job Description:
Winchester Equipment Co., a growing area company selling,
renting and servicing top-of-the-line agricultural, construction
and outdoor power equipment, has a full-time opening for a Regional
Sales Manager .
Previous experience with Bobcat and Kubota a huge plus!
The Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales activities within a
defined territory and manage sales specialists. In this position,
they should maintain a "Customers For Life" mindset and deliver
quality to all internal and external customers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Trains sales representatives in assigned territory
Organizes and oversees the schedules and territories
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and
constructive
Handles discipline of team members as needed and in accordance with
company policy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides leadershipo to the sales team
Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met
Reivews and analizes sales and operational records and reports;
uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets,
and identify potential new markets
Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct
sales efforts
Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams
Consults with potential customers for understand their needs;
identifies and suggests equipment, products or services that will
meet those needs
Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues
that may interfere with efficient sales operations
Collaborates with Vice President of Sales to develop sales quotes
and strategies
Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses
Travel to all locations, manufacturer trainins and occasional
shows, as needed
Acts as company representative at trade association meetings
Performs other duties assigned
Ability to build and maintain business relationshipos with
clients
Ability to travel and spend required time on the road with
salesment and customers
Excellent verbal and written commnucation skills
Excellent management and leadership skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Suite, with
emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling
Thorough knowledge of territory, market and clients
Excellent problem-solving skills
Organized with attention to detail
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Five years of outside sales experience required
