Sr Product Manager *Remote candidates invited to apply* *This is a REMOTE position. US East Coast locations / candidates preferred.Job Description:As a Senior Product Manager, Supply Chain, you will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain (WMS, ERP and other supporting applications), product strategy, vision, and roadmaps (short and long term) based on business needs.You will manage and deliver enhancements to applications that achieve growth and reduce operational cost while achieving corporate initiatives. -While managing the Supply-Chain applications portfolio, you may facilitate and manage change in systems and business processes in conjunction with business leaders and ITS staff.Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Management - Set product direction and define enhancements for Supply Chain application portfolio product roadmaps. Collaborate with software vendors, business staff members and senior IT-Apps staff to also set direction for Supply Chain portfolio of assigned applications. Define detailed plans to drive business and ITS initiatives in support of product direction. Understand the full breadth of application functionality and components, as well as integrations between systems, customers, and suppliers.
  • Project Management - When a Project Manager from the PMO is not assigned, the Product Manager will be responsible for prioritization and schedule, and drive product release or work with assigned persons. Coordinate related activities across Change Control Boards (CCBs). Facilitate cross-application prioritization meetings, change approval, and change acceptance. Act as primary liaison between impacted systems and departments to facilitate integrated solutions.
  • Software Analysis - Evaluate existing functionality, may need to perform gap analysis and decomposition mapping and design details to understand and reverse-engineer current systems.
  • Requirements Creation / Analysis - Work with the business and other ITS App SMEs to specify the details of new software functionality to support changing business needs. Will need to oversee Use Cases/Stories, wireframes, and test scenarios creation, review and management.
  • Software Design/Technical Review - Review design and Technical specifications for new systems, modifications to existing systems, and data integrations between systems.
  • Software Review and Testing - Coordinate/manage or work with QA Lead to understand- QA results obtained thorough system testing before start of UAT. Will need to coordinate and/or lead User Acceptance Testing
  • Software Training Review and Rollout - Oversee the user learning needs/styles, coaching needs, and skills assessment, and the subsequent design, development, testing and use of training materials and job aids for the user community.
  • Systems Implementation - Lead efforts to coordinate implementation and deployment of significant system and operational changes.
  • Systems Integration - Define and manage the deployment of new data interfaces, imports, feeds, and reports.
  • Support - Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
  • Documentation - Work with users, subject matter experts, systems engineers, business analysts, and technical writers, to document systems and procedures. Develop and maintain application architecture/system documentation and provide input to the overall ePlus Enterprise Architecture.
  • Controls - Play a lead role implementing controls around application changesYour Corporate Responsibilities:Internal Control responsibilities vary by role and are subject to change.     • Log all system and process changes in ServiceNow via change requests.
    • Ensure all application and access control changes are authorized by management.
    • Ensure all application changes are properly tested.
    • Ensure all application and business changes adhere to SOX Internal Control Directives (ICDs).
    • Handle confidential matters and information professionally.
    • Conduct business in a professional, competent, and ethical manner.
    • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.Job Knowledge/Skills:The Sr. Product Manager, Supply Chain will possess the following characteristics:
      • 10+ years of Knowledge and Experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
      • 10+ years of Knowledge and Experience in Procurement, WMS and best practices
      • 10+ years of Knowledge and Experience in ERP applications and best practices
      • 10+ years of management experience with direct reports with a desire to grow into management
      • 10+ years of experience with software product management and leading software project through the SDLC
      • 10+ years' experience in the VAR business working with procurement, Supply Chain, ERP, and related back-office systems
      • Project Management skills, management of projects with team of 7+ persons, willing to coordinate and work with PMO
      • 7+ years of Business or Systems analysis, design, and testing skills
      • 10+ Customer Solution and Service focused and results-oriented attitude is essential
      • 7+ years of experience and working knowledge of IT and programming concepts (Programming not required)
      • 5+ years of experience with sourcing, evaluating, selecting, negotiating and contractually managing vendors and contractors.
      • 5+ years of experience in partnering with internal professional services and business development teams to present to and interact with vendors and external customers related to solution deployment projects.
      • Strong individual and small group communications and leadership skills to include speaking, presenting, writing, listening, and managing and facilitating work sessions.
      • Organizational, prioritization and time management skills
      • Risk, issue, and action item management skills
      • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
      • Working knowledge of Supply Chain systems
      • Adept at mastering complex subject-matter domain and complex business software
      • Must be adept in use of MS Office, Visio, Project, internet, and e-mail
      • Willingness to travel as needed (20% travel per month may occasionally be required).
      • Willingness to perform keyboard intensive work 90% of the time
      • Basic understanding of Sales, Operations, Accounting
      • Willingness to be on call, 7x24x365 (less pre-approved exceptions) and attend to technical issues outside of normal business hoursPosition Specifics:The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 and $150,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
