Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Advanced Cyber Solutions Division. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Knowledge Manager , in the Herndon, VA area.

At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement. A qualified Knowledge Manager will oversee all knowledge-related activities, including the management, capturing sharing and accessibility of knowledge assets. They are required to work alongside stakeholders, internal and external, to promote and optimize the usage of the Program's knowledge assets.

The Knowledge Manager is expected to keep themselves accountable for compliance to the company and the customer's expectations and strategy. They are also responsible for communication, promoting collaboration and workplace harmony.

Ideal candidates possess soft skills such as great leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, coaching and teamwork skills. These skills will aid in promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing that is enabled through guidance and learning. As a knowledge manager, you will be well-equipped with the knowledge base features, functionality and be able to communicate this to teams effectively. As a manager in a fast-paced and knowledge-driven environment, you will have to be able to identify concepts and ideas and come up with solutions quickly.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing through defining, supporting and encouraging the use of knowledge to employees of all skill levels and roles

Ensuring that employees are sure of the knowledge management processes, including the purpose of doing so

Making sure that the right knowledge goes to the right people, and that this information is promptly applied to program activities

Ensuring that knowledge technologies are up-to-date and working according to function, as well as ensuring that employees are not misusing program tech infrastructure

Controlling the accessibility and flow of knowledge within the program and to external parties

Helping capture new knowledge with the usage of a knowledge base

Creation and maintenance of a knowledge base and/or repository

Collaboration with sponsor and vendor teams to collect, distribute, and maintain knowledge inputs

Monitor progress by leveraging analytics to assess the impact, engagement, functionality and effectiveness of knowledge management strategy

Providing relevant coaching, training and support to champion a knowledge management culture

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or other technical disciplines or equivalent relevant experience

4 years of experience in implementing knowledge management strategies

Experience in building knowledge management strategy within an IT program

Experience developing, updating, documenting, and maintaining process and procedures throughout a project or product lifecycle

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365

Experience with JIRA and Confluence

Knowledge of Project Management best practices

Knowledge of tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management, or BMC Remedy/Helix.

Effective in both written and verbal communication, coordination, and capable of representing the Program in community forums

Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other government agencies and mission partners

Ability to work in a fast paced, highly technical, dynamic, and team environment

Ability to think analytically and work effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to organize and lead groups to deliver results

Prior experience supporting an IC and/or DoD customers

Desired Qualifications:

Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM)

Certified Knowledge Specialist (CKS)

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications

Knowledge of Change and Configuration Management best practices

Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the core principles of Cyber Security

Experience with SAFe and the Agile methodologies

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current Top Secret is required
