About the PositionThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department and reports to the Facility Manager. This is a hands-on management production environment position; the candidate must be comfortable with managing and working in a fast paced, production environment to keep the equipment up and running. We are a rapidly growing company that is looking for experienced self-motivated driven individuals that eager to assist us on setting, establishing, and developing procedures for our rapidly growing company.
What you will do:

• 
  
• Responsible for the day-to-day and long-term maintenance activities throughout the site and coordination of all third-party service contractors involved in facility maintenance activities
  
• Plan, layout, and schedule work for functional areas of responsibility and delegate work on a project or individual basis to subordinate staff members
  
• Hire, train, monitor, discipline, evaluate and develop employees. Assist subordinates with diagnosing and remedying difficult problems. Enforce organizational policies and employee rules of conduct
  
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative and predictive equipment repair program
  
• Prepare and maintain department reporting and record-keeping systems
  
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to SOPs
  
• Develop and manage departmental budgets
  
• Setup and implement as CMMS
  
• Responsible for ordering parts, managing spare inventories, and working with multiple vendors and/or suppliers
  The ideal candidate:
  
  • 
    
  • 5 years of experience in Maintenance in a production environment. (Food MFG preferred)
    
  • 3-5 years of Supervisory/ Management experience
    
  • High school diploma or a GED certificate required, Associates degree preferred
    
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
    
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
    
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    
  • Strong working knowledge of pumps, valves, gears, bearings, lubricants, as well as electromechanical devices and systems, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
