opportunity for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Sourcing &
Outreach based out of our Herndon, Virginia division headquarters

contracts across the US and Canada, in the areas of Defense,
Civilian, and State agencies. In this role, you will be managing
all our recruiting sourcing, military transition, diversity and
college/university outreach and partnerships, AAP planning and
goals, and strategies to achieve those goals. You and your team
will develop deep and meaningful relationships and participate in
actives with external organizations, working in conjunction with
our Human Resources team.You will be part of the 50+ employee
Talent Acquisition department managing a growing team of 5+
coordinating all outreach and partnerships with general sourcing,
military transition/veteran programs, diversity, and college and
university partnerships. As part of the Management team, you will
be vital in our collaboration and development shaping our process,
procedures, and best practices. This position reports to the
Director, Talent Acquisition.In this role you will:Manage a team of
recruiters to build partnerships with external sourcing
vendors/activities, military transition, diversity organizations
and colleges and universities to partner on Serco's outreach and
participation in actives to support those organization as well as
Serco in identifying high quality candidates.Collaborate with the
Human Resource diversity team in external partnerships.Collaborate
with the Human Resource compliance team on AAP reporting,
development of goals, strategic plans on achieving those goals, and
implementing those strategies across the Talent Acquisition
team.Develop, plan, and implement diversity best practices, such as
diverse interview panels and representative slates, in the
recruitment hiring processes.Coach your team to drive improvements
on a continuous basis and overall customer experience focused on
diversity goals and strategies. Ensure the team adheres to process,
championing best practices, promoting a culture of continuous
improvement.Point of collaboration for senior leaders to align and
support business goals. Build strong effective relationships with
business units and management teams. Responsible for resourcing and
fulfilling demand for the Business Units and sub-sectors, balancing
workloads and priorities.Ensure the team possesses the required
level of professional expertise and training to enable delivery of
service, participate in continuous professional development and
initiating appropriate development interventions - undertaking all
activities as a People Manager including providing regular
performance and development feedback.Maintain knowledge and
awareness of the Serco brand, execute appropriate use of brand
collateral when communicating with candidates, act as ambassador of
the Serco brand and Employee Value Proposition.Work with TA leaders
and team to develop and implement effective marketing and social
media strategies, campaigns, events, and other activity
planning.Effectively manage and maintain the applicant tracking
system. Utilize reports, systems and processes to ensure a high
level of data integrity enabling accurate data tracking and
reporting according to company standards and procedures.Rely on
extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A
wide degree of leadership, responsibility, innovation and latitude
is expected.To be successful in this role, you will have:A
bachelor's degree (or experience in lieu of), 8+ years of
experience in recruiting and 5+ years of experience leading
staffing strategies and partnering with management.Minimum of 5
years of Federal and/or State & Local government contracting
experience.Knowledge and experience working with Military
transition and Veteran programs (such as SkillBridge), diversity
partnerships, and college and university partnerships.Experience
with AAP planning and goals and strategies to achieve those
goals.Strong data, reporting production and analysis, and attention
to detail.Strong organizational, problem solving, and strategy
development skills.Exceptional stakeholder management and customer
service skills.Technical aptitude in the use of business software
and applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred) with proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS databases.Demonstrable people
management skills, including recruitment, development, performance
management, resource deployment and employee engagement.Experienced
in change management, workforce transformation best practice, and
efficiencies in talent/recruitment/resourcing
functions.Understanding of workforce planning cycles and how these
can be converted into robust hiring plans and pro-active
strategies.Knowledge of and understanding of key risks in relation
to the end-to-end recruitment process, including the implication of
key legal and compliance (EEOC/OFCCP) requirements.If you are ready
