The New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager will manage cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing secure Computing, Video and Telephony products, organizing cross-functional activities and priorities to ensure completion of the project(s). Lead the efforts to drive production/ manufacturing ramp-up readiness, coordinate with cross-functional team (Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, Production, Test, etc.) to ensure manufacturing readiness. Communicating frequently with internal and external stake holders regarding program status, pending action items, recent developments, and program needs.Responsibilities:Lead end-end NPI projects from concept to commercialization and achieve on-time, on-scope, and on-budget targets.Creates and manages NPI Schedule for all projects, working closely with the engineering and operational teams to ensure they are completed on time and within the budget.Manages activities to ensure projects meet targeted functional requirements, quality, cost and schedule objectives and monitor project resources, tools, materials, plans and activities and adjust as needed to meet project goals and align to project requirements.Present and report project status, progress, performance to KPIsDirect and facilitate team activities including meetings, design and specification reviews, problem identification and resolution for new and sustaining programs.Collaborate with core teams to develop project plans encompassing scope, schedule, resources, and budgetClearly communicate objectives and deliverables to team members, and key stakeholders; escalate obstacles and issues as neededIdentify potential end of life electronic components and develop mitigation resolution as necessaryNo relocation funds have been budgeted for this role.QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Qualification:Must meet the definition of a US person as defined by the US regulations:*Any individual who is granted U.S. citizenshipAny individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (i.e., a "Green Card" holder)Any individual who is granted status as a "protected person"Education and Experience: Requirements:Bachelors degree electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or other related scientific disciplinesDemonstrated minimum 5 years work experience managing and leading new product introduction projects with cross functional teamsSolid understanding and application of project management methodologies and toolsExcellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), presentation and influencing skillsExceptional problem solving, team building skillsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Able to work independently without much supervisionComfortable working under deadline pressureProficiency in Microsoft Projects or other scheduling software, MS Office, Risk Management toolset (e.g. FMEA)Familiarity with Stage Gate methodologiesStrong manufacturing experience; very detailed oriented; multi-task well; very versatile and quick to understand new challenges and bring them to completion with minimal support and guidance.Qualifications:Candidate must have prior NPI Project Management experienceCandidate must have an engineering degree (EE, ME, or Computer Science backgrounds are desirable). A Bachelors Degree is required, a PMP is preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
