As a part of the Strategic Education family, company offers subscription-based online courses that allow students to earn college-level credit on their own pace and then apply them toward the general education curriculum of their undergraduate degree program. As the leader of Company, the CEO is responsible for scaling an already growing business in an attractive market. As the CEO, you will set business strategy, oversee business development, manage Company's strategic relationship to Strategic Education and take responsibility for Company's overall business performance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Setting the business strategy to establish Company's distinct market differentiation.
• Aligning resources across Company to meet and exceed business goals, while balancing organizational impact and competing priorities.
• Managing Company's operating budget and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Partnering across the organization to meet/exceed Company goals as well as goals for the Alternative Learning division.
• Managing and understanding competitive threats in the marketplace and developing a plan to mitigate potential threats or risks to the business.
• Being the internal champion for the business, presenting business goals and objectives both internally and externally.Job Skills:

  • Building strategic partnerships and relationships to drive growth and establishing credibility throughout the customer and partner network.
  • Creating and implementing a scalable product vision and product development strategy.

    • 5+ years' experience leading and scaling a high growth start-up and/or 5+ years' experience leading a $50m+ business inside of a large organization.
    • P & L responsibilities at a senior level.
    • Proven track record of building a successful product and high performing teams from the ground up.
    • Prior experience in developing digital product solutions across multiple channels: B2B, B2C, B2U.
    • Experience as a change agent, transforming a business and its people from startup mode to large scale operation.
    • Behavioral attributes: enthusiasm, optimism, a play to win mentality, being willing to do what it takes to get the job done, and taking ideas across the finish line.Education:
      • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.Other:
        • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
        • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
        • Typical office setting.
        • Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
        • Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
        • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
        • Access information using a computer.
