Job Description:
ManTech is seeking a meticulous Circuit Design and Documentation
Technician to support our strategic initiatives within the national
security sector. This role requires a detailed understanding of
circuit design and the effective documentation of processes to
support the development of cutting-edge technological solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a technical skill set that includes
schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype testing, coupled with
the ability to document technical processes and outcomes clearly.
Working within our Engineering & Design department, the technician
will contribute directly to projects enhancing national security
measures. This role demands precision, reliability, and a strong
collaborative work ethic. Design and simulate electronic circuits
as per project requirements. Oversee the drafting and maintenance
of technical documents including schematics, layouts, and diagrams.
Perform circuit testing to ensure system functionality and
reliability. Update and maintain documentation throughout the
lifecycle of the product. Collaborate with engineers to collect
technical requirements and specifications. Proficiency in schematic
capture and PCB layout tools like Altium Designer or Cadence.
Strong understanding of electronic circuit operation and fault
analysis. Ability to interpret complex technical information and
translate it into detailed documentation. Experience with
prototyping and pre-production testing. Skilled in the use of MS
Office for report generation and documentation. Certification in
IPC-2221/2222 for PCB design and layout. Certified Documentation
Specialist (CDS) is preferred.
