We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineer specializing in Nuclear Fuels to join our team. This vital role focuses on researching, developing, and implementing efficient and safe nuclear fuel handling strategies. As a Nuclear Fuels Engineer, you'll ensure optimum performance of fuel in nuclear reactors, oversee fuel reliability, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Design and analyze nuclear fuel projects to optimize performance and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop nuclear fuel management strategies. Monitor and evaluate the behavior of nuclear fuel under operational conditions. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the procurement and evaluation of fuel-related components and materials. Provide technical support for operational and decommissioning activities. Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives in nuclear fuel processes and technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with nuclear reactor engineering and fuel cycle technologies. Expertise in thermo-hydraulic calculations and nuclear physics. Ability to use simulation and modeling software related to nuclear energy. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of regulatory environments and safety protocols in the nuclear industry. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) License. Certification from the American Nuclear Society is a plus.
