Job Description:

The team is engaged in research and development of cutting-edge satellite communication equipment & systems, engineering mechanical solutions to electronic packaging challenges at the chip level, board level, & enclosure level. Custom indoor and outdoor enclosure design for custom circuit boards is a major area of focus for the team.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of experience in the design of Telecommunications Electronic Packaging solutions
3+years' experience leading R&D mechanical engineering teams
Previous experience managing a team
Product design, implementation of advanced mechanical innovations, resource allocation, recruiting, and career development of team members.
Design and analysis of toolsets used by the team, creating process improvements and auditing of project outcomes.
Collaborate with ECAD Managers, EE Managers, in-house Manufacturing teams, and 3rd party suppliers in the design & development mechanical custom components.
Drive the full product life cycle from Concept Industrial Design, Analysis, CAD Development, Prototyping, Testing, Production Release, and ongoing Production Support.
Responsibly for the technical direction and mentoring of junior mechanical engineers.
