Supplier Development Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for supplier development engineers. The contractors will be experienced in supplier development with a focus on resourcing parts and launching new parts with suppliers. The specific skills include supplier quality assessments, tooling and jig confirmation, run-at-rate audits, and PPAP management. The services will be delivered as a mix of onsite & remote work, with specific assignments and locations determined by Client.

The project scope is expected to include the following:

Interim full time supplier quality engineering resources provided to JLG as needed.
Contractors will have skills in key areas such as:
- Supplier assessment and quality audit
- New program/product launch
- Part transfers between suppliers
- Tooling and production process confirmation
- Run-at-rate audit
- Production Part Approval Process management and execution
- Problem-solving
- Specific commodity skills will be determined based on JLG s needs and plan.
