a part of the evolution of Ashworth.Essential Duties:--- Develop
machine specifications as needed for one-off proprietary equipment;
either individually or as part of cross-departmental team;
following industry regulations, guidelines and safety standards ---
Develop functional machine/machine component designs by conducting
research, applying knowledge of Ashworth products, fabrication,
assembly, tooling, materials, conferring with equipment vendors and
soliciting observations from operators --- Excellent drafting
skills are required, experience and knowledge of GD&T to create
functional drawings, assemblies and BOMs --- Create FAT/SAT
acceptance criteria confirming equipment meets specifications and
quality by developing test matrix, testing finished product and
process capabilities, establishing work or quality standards ---
Actively manage internal and external projects by developing
schedules and budgets, resource planning, documentation, develop
vendor partnerships, progress reporting, risk assessment and team
leadership --- Produce engineering documentation such as
standardized work procedures, operational manuals and
troubleshooting guides --- Maintain existing equipment by
coordinating with internal maintenance department and/or outside
repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and
established procedures --- Maintains professional and technical
knowledge by attending educational workshops, trade shows,
reviewing professional publications, establishing personal
networks, and participating in professional societiesEducation:
