Job Description:
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery,

completion. Support the growth of clean energy at scale across the
Eastern US with the AWS Energy Team. In this role, you will drive
strategic business development initiatives, negotiate and execute
power supply contracts across AWS regions in PJM and adjacent
markets, and create innovative supply structures that integrate our
carbon free energy portfolio. The candidate will identify key
market conditions, regulations, and market structures to help
evaluate opportunities while building strategic partnerships with
utilities, developers, and market stakeholders. The optimal
candidate will have a results-oriented approach, analytical skill
set, strong financial acumen, and proven business development
capabilities. Key job responsibilities - Lead business development
efforts to identify and secure strategic energy partnerships and
procurement opportunities primarily in PJM market - Develop and
execute a comprehensive carbon free energy and utilities strategy
for AWS data centers across the Eastern US - Execute electricity
supply contracts that create new clean energy capacity on the grid,
reduce cost, minimize risk and leverage opportunities that benefit
Amazon - Build and maintain strategic relationships with utilities,
ISOs/RTOs, generation developers, investors, and regulatory bodies
in target markets - Work collaboratively with Amazon Infrastructure
team to support the development of strategic energy sourcing
opportunities and infrastructure planning - Analyze trends and
regulations in the energy space to proactively identify
opportunities that benefit Amazon - Drive cross-functional
initiatives with legal, finance, real estate, and infrastructure
teams to advance energy procurement objectives - Represent AWS in
industry forums, working groups, and stakeholder meetings to
influence market development - Be a passionate self-starter with

and building strong client relationship - Experience in solving
complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely
financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven
impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational
improvements, or customer benefits), or experience in tax, finance
or a related analytical field - Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required
- Economics/Engineering/Business - 3 years working in
utility/energy industry - 2 years of power transaction or
contracting experience in US East (PJM, MISO, SPP, SERC) energy
markets - Master's degree, or MBA in management, business
administration, economics, engineering, marketing - Experience
managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously -
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to
detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience
working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional
service - - Proven ability to evaluate new energy markets, utility
tariffs, policies, power contracts, or evaluating new energy
sourcing opportunities and technologies - - Familiarity with
renewable credit programs, renewable project development, power
forecasting and scheduling, portfolio management theory, advanced
energy storage, or alternative energy resources - - Experience
building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such
as utilities, regional power planning agencies (particularly PJM
Interconnection), renewable project developers, project investors,
and renewable OEMs - - Strong understanding of PJM market
structure, capacity markets, and regional transmission planning - -
5 years experience in energy markets, energy trading, power
contract negotiations, energy regulations, renewable development,
or energy generation technologies - - Track record of successful
business development outcomes and strategic partnership execution

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
