Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Middle
School Special Education Teacher to support students in an
emotional support classroom setting. This role serves 7th and 8th
graders and requires a commitment Monday through Friday from 7:30
a.m. to 3:10 p.m. on a contractual basis for the current school
year. Location: Columbia, PA Student Population: Middle school
students (grades 7 and 8) Caseload: 13 students needing specialized
emotional support Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the
unique needs of each student on your caseload Provide direct
instruction and emotional support in alignment with state
guidelines and best practices for special education Collaborate
with multi-disciplinary teams including general education teachers,
counselors, and families to promote student growth Monitor and
document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
to foster a supportive learning environment Maintain compliance
with all relevant state and federal special education laws and
policies Qualifications: PA state certification in Special
Education required Valid SE credentials specific to special
education Experience working with middle school students,
particularly in emotional support or behaviorally focused
