seeking a flexible and dependable Floater to support various
classrooms and age groups in our daycare center. This role requires
adaptability, strong communication skills, and a passion for
working with children. The Floater will assist teachers, provide
additional supervision, and step in wherever needed to ensure a
smooth and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities may
include helping with activities, maintaining classroom safety,
assisting with meal times, and supporting daily routines. This
position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with different age
groups and thrives in a collaborative childcare setting. Duties Job
Duties: - Provide classroom support by assisting teachers with
daily activities, lessons, and supervision. - Move between
classrooms and age groups as needed to maintain a smooth and
engaging learning environment. - Help with meal and snack times,
ensuring children are fed in a safe and orderly manner. - Assist
with diapering, toileting, and maintaining hygiene standards for
younger children. - Supervise and engage children during playtime,
reinforcing positive interactions and safety guidelines. - Support
transitions between activities, helping children adjust to new
routines and classroom settings. - Maintain cleanliness and
organization in classrooms and common areas. - Step in for teachers
during breaks, meetings, or absences to provide consistency in
care. - Communicate effectively with staff and parents to support
children's developmental needs. - Encourage and model positive
behavior, fostering a warm and inclusive environment for all
children. Requirements Job Requirements: - Required Education: High
school diploma or GED required; coursework in early childhood
education preferred. - Certification: CPR and First Aid
certification required; additional childcare-related certifications
are a plus. - Experience: Previous experience working with children
in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred. Skills: -
Ability to interact with and support children of various age
groups. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers,
staff, and families. - Knowledge of basic health and safety
practices in a childcare environment. - Adaptability to move
between classrooms and assist with various tasks as needed. -
Patience and attentiveness in supervising and engaging children.

Experience hosting parent workshops or promoting family involvement
activities. - Crisis Intervention Training: Understanding of
behavioral support strategies and emergency preparedness in a
childcare setting. - Technology Integration: Ability to use digital
learning tools or educational software to support early childhood
education. - Flexibility Adaptability: Comfortable stepping into
