Content Studio: Social Media Marketing Specialist



ROLE SUMMARY


  • The Content Studio is Marketing's In-house Social + Content team.
  • We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to lead in two key areas: Social Media Strategy and overseeing Social Media projects and operations.
  • This role will work closely with the
  • Content Manager of the Content Studio in developing Social Media Strategy and Best Practices.
  • This role will also supervise the execution of Social Media projects on the team from planning to execution.
  • This Social Media Marketing Specialist will work closely with the team's Social Community & Engagement Specialist to help develop social assets and copy.
  • The role will also work with the team's Content Producers to help align any relevant production aspects.
  • This role will also assist the Content Manger in team operations including Vendor/Agency management, budgeting and finances, and resource management.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Develops Social Media strategy for assigned projects, integrating brand messaging positioning, as well as Social best practices and insights
    • Works with Studio Content Manager and team Content Producers in developing and compiling the Brand's Social organic content strategy for projects and campaigns
    • Leads day-to-day management of Social Media projects from inception to completion, ensuring strategic, creative alignment and project milestones are met
    • Maintains project status, and milestones through team's project management platforms
    • Leads and ensures all relevant business, creative, product, and legal reviews for projects are done
    • Clearly communicate creative project status, timelines, deliverables, goals, financial status, and expectations to teams on a regular basis. (Weekly and Monthly updates)
    • Works with Social Community & Engagement Specialist in developing Social editorial calendar, leads any relevant brainstorms
    • Leads cross-functional editorial meetings to gather and compile long-term content opportunities
    • Assists in social publishing and scheduling when needed
    • Reviews content with Legal and Product teams to ensure content is accurate and compliant to business standards
    • Assists Studio Content Manager in processing vendor invoices and managing team finances and budgets
    • Works with other team members to develop social storytelling on assigned projects

      Years of Experience:


      • 5+ years of relevant experience

        Education:


        • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, social media, or related field - required

          Skills:


          • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, writing, and grammatical skills. Be authentically positive, fun, and enthusiastic
          • Cross collaboration: Comfortable in bringing people, processes, or systems together to achieve common goals
          • Organization: Able to work under tight deadlines, work under own initiative, and multi-task various projects
          • Resourceful: Able to learn and Client available brand resources and leverage them in everyday work. Strong problem-solving skills.
          • Analytical and conceptual thinking: Ability to align and develop content according to establish Brand and campaign guidelines. Able to analyze and interpret social media metrics and insights to optimize content.

            Specialized Skills: -


            • Must have experience in Social Media Marketing, preferably for a consumer brand or similar experience with a Marketing/Advertising agency
            • Strong knowledge of Social Media strategy on both legacy and emerging platforms
            • Strong experience working with a consumer brand, ensuring brand positioning is reflected in Marketing/Advertising materials
            • Experience with Project Management platforms (Click-Up, Monday, Share point, etc.)
            • Experienced at prioritizing multiple tasks and requests across multiple stakeholders
            • Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills; Clearly demonstrates the ability to work in a dynamic environment through flexibility, resilience, and a positive outlook
            • Excellent communicator with ability to write clear, well-constructed communications. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience
            • Experience developing social media content, calendars, and strategy

              Work Flexibility:


              • Domestic travel may be required - estimated at 10 - 15
