Job Description:

This position is a support position reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. Key relationships with marketing team members include the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Vice President of Revenue Optimization, Corporate Marketing Director, Vice President of Communications.

This position will act as an integrally supportive marketing research and reporting support role to the corporate marketing team of Salamander Hotels & Resorts. The marketing organization is striving to be on the cutting edge of all sales, marketing and revenue driving disciplines and benchmark well above our hospitality counterparts.

The Corporate Marketing Analysist will primarily provide property and competitive set research, analytical insights and business intelligence, data analysis and interpretation to ensure the Salamander marketing team is data-driven decisions. Utilizing internal and external data and research, the successful candidate will also help drive innovation and new program development. Responsibilities:


--- Assist marketing leadership in driving stra tegy and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize channel performance

--- Help with deve lopment and execution of standard reports to gain a better view of customer activity and overall program performance, including segmentation analysis, redemption analysis, purchase behavior, and customer value

--- Update all ongoing marketing monthly reports for ownership

--- Analyze and report on Salamander loyalist campaigns and general marketing campaigns with recommendations for improvement

--- Conduct ongoing market research for competitive sets, new supply coming into market and any other hotel, destination or global market intelligence which could impact strategy

--- Aid with ad hoc research projects (focus groups, surveys, in-depth interviews) related to understanding our guests' wants, needs, behaviors and attitudes that will inform business decisions and increase guest loyalty

--- Responsible for enterprise reporting for revenue

--- Other marketing tasks and projects as needed. Position Requirements: Experience

--- Experience in business analysis, marketing research or other relevant business experience in a quantitative role

--- Experience in hospitality is preferred --- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software with a strong proficiency in Excel

--- Experience with analytic tools and methods related to research and analyzing of data

--- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

--- Minimum Bachelor's degree

--- Must be able to function and act independently.

--- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

--- Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written & oral.

--- Ability to work collaboratively

--- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines.
