To strengthen our Immune Response commercial team, we are
recruiting for a Regional Marketing Manager who will work closely
with QIAGEN s sales team across North America. The Regional
Marketing Manager will develop and drive the campaigns across the
QuantiFERON and QIAreach portfolios in collaboration with the
product managers and the regional sales organization. A successful
candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance
by developing marketing plans & strategies, reviewing and
communicating these plans with commercial leadership, and executing
on these plans to drive success for the product lines mentioned
above. The Regional Marketing Manager will work closely with the
sales teams to develop pricing, promotional activities, and
positioning strategies that will maximize revenue, profits and grow
market share. Finally, you will oversee the organization of company
conferences, trade shows, and major events promoting and in support
of the product lines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategy & tactics: Accountable for helping to develop the North
American marketing strategy across the Immune Response segments and
markets in alignment with the Regional Heads of Commercial
Operations, global marketing, and in agreement with corporate
goals. Responsible for delivery and implementation of annual
marketing plans includes tactical activity planning for each
market/business segment in North America, and alignment of all
planning with all relevant departments including Global Product
* Planning: Responsible for the development/agreement and
monitoring of sales targets, key performance indicators and
creation and implementation of annual marketing plans.
* Business/Markets: Provide guidance for focus areas of growth and
align planning accordingly. Drive and initiate development of new
business growth opportunities by working closely with all
commercial teams and other departments (including sales, service,
customer care, global product management, finance, etc). Maintain
and develop relationships with key customers/KOL.
* Revenue and Budget Planning: help to build the regional budgets
and support the sales managers with the forecasting process.
Analyze and interpret market reports. Monitor KPI s through SFDC.
Accountable for annual revenue goals and expense management.
Periodic presentation to senior QIAGEN management will be
* BS in Life Science or equivalent required, M.S./Ph.D./Marketing
qualifications or M.B.A. preferred
* At least 5 years successful experience with a proven track record
in the molecular diagnostics industry
* Experience in developing and executing marketing strategy and
