Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a local client in Washington, DC in their search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented professional to support the Accounts Payable process in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities include: Managing the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely review and response to incoming invoices and communications Printing invoices and preparing them for entry into the accounting system Entering invoices into the system accurately and efficiently Printing and preparing batch reports for internal review and approval Participating in the weekly check run process, including preparing checks for signature Mailing checks to vendors and maintaining proper documentation Filing invoices and maintaining organized records for audit and compliance purposes Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Abila MIP or similar accounting software is strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
