their collaborative work environment AP Specialist Responsibilities
: AP Specialist will be assisting with high volume AP: 600
invoices/week (will be working with one other person in AP to
handle volume) Controller does final approval of what can be paid
When invoices come in, the AP Specialist will code (except for
construction and development invoices, the project accountant will
code those), then push through Yardi depending on how the rules are
set up. (Approver's queue depends on dollar amount.) Then will
select certain expense types and which approvers. AP Specialist
will be responsible for mail runs and sending out checks. AP
Specialist will likely not need to respond to vendor inquiries
(another employee will coordinate with outside vendors). This
position will focus on internal communications. AP Specialist will
run aging reports AP Specialist answer questions from internal
departments about the status of invoices or setting up a new
vendor, etc. AP Specialist will complete ad hoc tasks and projects,
as assigned Requirements: 2 years of full cycle ap experience -
must know how to code invoices properly This position will support
74 entities, 80-90 different property codes Associate's degree is
preferred Yardi is accounting system - previous experience is a
plus, not a requirement Must have ERP system experience Real estate
experience is a plus but not required Basic to Intermediate Excel
