Job Description:
Constellation, a leading energy company, is seeking a skilled
Journeyman Electrical Service Technician to join our team. This
role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and safe operations of
electrical systems across various service areas. The successful
candidate will be responsible for performing complex electrical
installations, maintenance, and repairs, servicing a vast array of
energy systems from traditional setups to modern renewable
integrations. This position offers the opportunity to work within a
dynamic environment where advanced technologies meet traditional
energy needs. As part of our skilled labor team, you will
contribute to delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy
solutions. Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and testing
of various electrical systems. Ensure compliance with all safety
standards and regulations. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and
components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the
problem. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and
operation manuals. Work with project managers to plan, layout, and
installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based
on job specifications. Advise management on whether continued
operation of equipment could be hazardous. Train and mentor
apprentices and newer employees. Stay current with National
Electric Code and local regulations. In-depth knowledge of
electrical systems and wiring. Ability to read technical diagrams
and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in the use of electrical repair tools and diagnostic
equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Valid Journeyman Electrician license. OSHA Safety Certifications.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E standard preferred.
